Each year the College proposes to elect up to four Fellows by Examination (elsewhere known as Junior Research Fellows). Each Fellowship is tenable for three years. The Fellow is a member of the Governing Body of the College for the first two years and is entitled to: free lunches and dinners in College; a research allowance; and partnered accommodation in College free of charge or, 另外, a taxable housing allowance. Successful candidates who decide to live out of College may have use of shared office space in College. Fellows by Examination are expected to live in the Oxford area, and his/her research base must be in Oxford.

Each year the College elects a Visiting Fellow or Fellows for periods of one year or shorter during an academic year. In addition, a Robert S. Campbell Visiting Fellow may be elected for research in law, especially commercial or competition law.
A Visiting Fellowship is intended to offer an established scholar, either from abroad or from the United Kingdom, an opportunity to pursue his or her own study and research as a member of the College.

Data and Analytics Manager (Maternity Cover)

Magdalen College is seeking to recruit a full-time Data and Analytics Manager to the Development Office for a 12-month maternity cover. The Development Office is responsible for fundraising and alumni engagement, and comprises an established team of fundraising and alumni engagement professionals.
This is a vital and varied role within the Development Office, with the opportunity to inform the strategy using data analysis, prospect research and process development. The successful applicant will have responsibility for the management of the database, oversight of financial reporting, and supporting the Development team with segmented data for mailings. The person appointed will be expected to be proactive, flexible and to be able to produce statistics, analysis and data lists, often at short notice, as we gear up for an exciting major capital campaign.
The successful applicant will display strong analytical skills and an inquisitive and logical mind. You will be an important member of one of the world’s most prestigious educational institutions, working in unique and iconic surroundings, and be part of a friendly and dynamic team.
Fixed-term contract 12 months.
The post is full time 37.5 hours a week, and the salary will be on the University Grade 6 scale £31,502 to £37,386每年, with a discretionary range to £40,745 for exceptional and experienced candidates. Flexible working, with the potential for some hybrid working, will be offered.
