Potential applicants and their families are very welcome to look around Magdalen on any day of the year. Simply tell the porter on duty that you are a prospective applicant and you will be admitted free of charge and given a copy of our student-written Alternative Prospectus.
Please see our general visitor information, including opening hours.
Open Day Schedule
The Open Day is an opportunity for you to get a feel for the College, ask any questions you may have, and for you to meet our tutors and current undergraduate students. The Open Day is designed to help you to decide where you want to study and play no part whatsoever in our selection process.
There will be the opportunity to ask our students, admissions and outreach team and tutors questions on the day.
Magdalen’s schedule of events during the Open Days on 28th and 29th June and 15th September will be as follow:
|9:30-16:30||Open to Visitors with frequent tours running by student helpers|
|12:30-13:00||Life at Magdalen talk by student ambassadors (prospective students only)|
|13:15-14:15||Admissions Talk and Q&A with admissions tutors from various subjects|
|14:45-15:30||Demonstration Interview with a student helper and admissions tutor|
All of these events are drop-in and do not require booking beforehand.
